Belgrade is a big, major city, but Serbia is a small country with about 7.5 million residents. In this small country, many companies manufacture windows and doors, the competition is enormous.
Our General Manager, after graduating on University of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade, worked more than 15 years in a large company engaged in the manufacture of windows and doors. One day, the company was closed.
But all the knowledge and skills, the experience which he acquired for many years, remained. He found himself with no idea how and what to do next.
In a small Serbia, we use to say „Godfather is not a button“, so our Godfather decided to start production and take advantage of all that knowledge. He "opened our eyes", breathed new life, new hope and the CR Link company began to live. C and R letters in the company name CR Link are the first letters of two Godfathers surname, two lifetime friends, because otherwise couldnot be in our story.
In that way we created our moto "Open the window as the eyes!"
How we started? In a friendly conversation over coffee, so that’s the way it works in Serbia. We realized that it is easier to cook the best coffee at home, than we would get in the best cafe. Therefore, we selected very carefully and meticulously the profile window that we use today because we made that choice for ourselves. First, we have replaced the old wooden windows in our homes, windows that we made in our manufacturing plant. And today the same windows are still wide open.
The first window we have installed to the client, was to our first neighbor. A small window but a big step for us. Later, as the business expanded, our wives joined us. They are now responsible for financial and administrative section. What kind of family business would it be if there isn’t one family employed or two. And our children have their share of responsibilities, each according to their age, knowledge and abilities.
We love what we do and we know how. Zeal and passionate determination to become a recognizable brand in Serbia and the region is our Mission and this is what drives us, so we are guided by the following Principles and Values:
